Attached is a revised page A.(1) EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND MONITORING REQUIRMENTS for these four permits. Please remove the current Effluent pages and replace with the new pages. Please note that under the revised Effluent pages, you must monitor and report Dissolved Oxygen, but there is no limit. There are no other changes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The pH shall not be less than 6.8 standard units nor greater than 8.5 standard units. 2. The Total Residual Chlorine limit shall become effective on February 1, 2009. Monitoring and reporting shall begin on the effective date of the permit. 3. The requirement for composite samples will begin on February 1, 2009. Grab samples shall suffice until that date. 4. TN = TKN + NO3-N + NO2-N, where TN is Total Nitrogen, TKN is Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, and NO3-N + NO2-N are Nitrate and Nitrite Nitrogen, respectively. 5. Acute 24-hour Pass/ Fail (Fathead Minnow OR Mysid Shrimp OR Silverside Minnow, Permittee's choice) at 90%; March, June, September and December; refer to Special Condition A (2). All samples collected should be from a representative discharge event. There shall be no discharge of floating solids or visible foam in other than trace amounts.
