The NCDOT engineer would like to modify the permit. The requested modifications are shown on the attached
plans.
Also, attached are pictures of the roadside channel identified as a ‘JS’ (jurisdictional stream) on the plan
sheet. One picture I am standing on the road looking down at the section we need to relocate and the other
picture I am standing in the channel looking at the section to be relocated.

The contractor has already removed the old bridge and is almost ready to begin drilling the shafts for the new
bridge piles.
I know, I do not like last minute changes and requests, but if this can be reviewed and modified quickly then I
would greatly appreciate it.
Steve has already looked at the information. If it would help we can have a conference call and/or meet onsite.
