Dear Mr. Everett:
On June 13, 2011, Mr. Frank Transou,whom you had hired to install a chlorinator and dechlorinator as
per a Notice of Continuing Violation dated June 2, 2011, called to inform as that he had discovered a
buried existing chlorinator and chlorine contact chamber while excavating. He was able to repair and
reconnect that existing chlorinator to working order. Mr. Alex Carter of Beeson Engineering was on hand
to verify the functionality of the chlorinator and contact chamber.
Since you were able to have the existing chlorinator repaired, the addition of the dechlorinator is no
longer required. The Division greatly appreciates your efforts to regain compliance with your sandfilter
system.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please remember to monitor and maintain all components of
your sandfilter system as per your permit(#NCG550094). Should you have any questions,please contact
