Dear Sirs:
The Wilmington Regional Office received the Stormwater
submittal for Joniquins Landing Subdivision on September 20,
1989 . Based on our review of the project plans and
specifications, we have determined that the project complies with
the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15 NCAC 2H.
1003 (a) (2) . This certification shall be effective from the date
of issuance until rescinded and the project shall be constructed
in accordance with the plans and specifications subsequently
filed with the Wilmington Regional Office.
In the Deed Restrictions and Protective Covenants portion of
the submittal form for the subject project the following
statement was included 11 Deed restrictions are not written at
this time but will limit impervious cover to 7800 square feet per
lot. " Upon completion of said covenants and no less than ten
(10) days prior to the construction of any structure at this site
this office must obtain a copy of said covenants. Failure to
submit the necessary restrictive covenants will result in the
revocation of this certification and may result in enforcement
actions by the Environmental Management Commission.

NARRATIVE
JONIQUINS LANDING IS A PROPOSED SUBDIVISION IN CARTERET COUNTY, NORTH
CAROLINA. IT CONSISTS OF APPROXIMATELY 76 LOTS ON 182 ACRES. THE MINIMUM
LOT SIZE IS 0.70 ACRES. THE PARCEL IS TOTAL WOODED. SOILS ARE
PREDOMINATELY SANDY. TOPOGRAPHY IS RELATIVELY FLAT.
THE EXISTING STREAM AT PIPE "A" IS SUFFICIENT TO CARRY ADDITIONAL WATER.
CLEARING WILL BE CONFINED TO THE ROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND THE COMMUNITY
AREA. LOTS WILL BE CLEARED ON AN AS-BUILT BASIS BY HOUSING CONTRACTORS.
DRAINAGE FROM A PORTION OF THE LOTS WILL CONTINUE IN EXISTING PATTERNS.
THE REMAINDER WILL BE DIRECTED AS SHOWN AND ROUTED TO CREEKS.
ALL DISTURBED AREAS WILL BE SEEDED AND MULCHED PER ENCLOSED
