County Airpark.
41. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: *
Duplin County prepared an Airpark Master Development Plan prepared by Parrish & Partners. Final Submittal date, July 2022 - Prepared for Duplin County Economic Development
Commission. Master Development Plan included wetlands delineation performed by ECS Southeast, LLP.
Construction of sanitary sewer lines involves crossing wetlands area. Wetlands will be crossed perpendicular to wetland area. Gravity sewer construction will be shallow, by open cut. A
anti -seep collar will be installed around the pipe, downstream of the wetlands area. Tracked excavator will be used to perform sewer line installation.
5. Jurisdictional Determinations
5a. Have the wetlands or streams been delineated on the property or proposed impact areas?

21. Comments:
The wetlands area is 84 feet wide at the point of crossing. The pipe will be installed shallow, therefore minimal excavation is required. Impact area is
calculated at 84 long at crossing by 15 feet wide to allow room for work. A anti -seep collar is provided on the downstream side of the wetlands area.
E. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project:
Since the sewer pipe is installed at a shallow depth, impacts will be minimal.
