Re: Zero Animal Permit
To Whore it May Concern:
I am requesting a zero-animal permit for Loflin Farms (29-34). We have not
operated this facility since May 22, 2021. The company that I grew for is bankrupt
and there is no one in the area to pick us up.
The lagoon still exists and is monitored, but nothing other than the rain that falls
has entered it since May 22, 2021, and nothing has been pumped out since the
facility has ceased operation. I still have the ability to apply if needed, but that has
not been an issue so far. The lagoon is still in good shape and is being maintained.
We have applied for cost share funds to close the lagoon and the application has

been approved. We will be closing the lagoon next year.
