• If you paid the overdue annual fee prior to receiving this notice, provide documentation verifying
payment (e.g., receipt, cancelled check, etc).
• If the non -discharge system has not been constructed or if it is no longer active, you may request to
rescind (cancel) the permit. If both Central Office and the Regional Office approve your request, we will
also waive any overdue annual fees. However, if you wish to construct or operate the non -discharge
system in the future, then you must obtain a new permit at that time. Email permit rescission requests
to Non-Discharge.Reports@ncdenr.gov.
If you no longer own the land associated with the subject non -discharge system, please notify us so that
we can contact the new property owners. As noted in your permit, responsibility for the permit does
not transfer with the land, therefore you are still responsible for the permit and annual fees until we re-
issue the permit to the new landowner.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and response. If you need additional information regarding this email,
please don't hesitate to contact me.
