Following-up with cny phone cnessage,
The above proje�t is on our radar at the cnocnent as the utility work is underway, A question has �ocne up by a landowner �who lives on Skeet Club Road where
utility poles are going in) as to whether or not the utility work is part of DOT's 401�404 percnit, He is requesting that the utility work be tercninated until the
issue is resolved, I've been told that as (ong as the utility work is within DOT's proje�t right-of-way, then yes the work is under DOT's 404�401
percnit, Apparently, the original plans were to install poles on one side of the road, but now they need to go on the opposite side of the road but are still within
the right-of-way, I have requested utility plans frocn High Point to detercnined exa�tly where the work is proposed as there are Randlecnan Lake buffer issues to
pin down as well, Are there issues related to utility icnpa�ts or a �hange in icnpa�ts �in general) that cnay pertain to DOT's 404 that need to be addressed? I
talked with Jerry last week and inforcned hicn that if there are �hanges in icnpa�ts related to streacns and wetlands �i,e,, different than what was originally
percnitted) as a result of the utility work, then DOT needs to cnodify their existing percnit to address those icnpa�ts, Is that how you understand it?
