Dear Mr. Harmon:
Reference is made to your request for rescission of the non-discharge groundwater remediation permit
referenced above. Based upon information provided, your request to rescind this permit is approved.
Therefore,in accordancewith your request, Permit WI0300466 is rescinded with an effective date of this
letter.
NOTE: Any monitoringwells remaining on-site that are going to be continued to be used for groundwater
quality sampling will need to be abandoned per 15A NCAC 02C.0113 when this project is complete and no
longer needed.
If in the future,if you wish to operate a groundwater remediation system,you must first apply for and receive
a new permit. Operating an injection system without a valid permit may result in the assessment of civil
penalties and/or the use of other enforcement mechanisms available to the state. If it would be helpful to
