I am requesting a zero animal permit for Lewis Swine Farm
We have not operated this lagoon for animal production since 2013. The lagoon is still in
existence and is monitored but nothing other than rainfall has entered the lagoon since 2013;
We have maintained proper liquid levels. Most if not all of the rainfall that enters the lagoon
evaporates during warmer months. We continue to monitor the lagoon for maintenance but do
not have the funds to close it, even though it is no longer in use for animal waste.
