Dear Sir/Madame,
This letter is in reference to the Metropolitan Sewerage District's (MSD) electronic "after -the -fact" pre -
construction notification (ePCN) submitted on April 19, 2024, for the BCSP Hominy Creek Stream Bank
Stabilization, MSD Project No. 2024105.
As previously discussed with NCDEQ and USACE, this project is for the emergency stabilization of 175
ft of the Hominy Creek stream bank in Enka, North Carolina, at the Buncombe County Sports Park. Hominy
Creek has recently eroded portions of the stream bank and could compromise the sewerage district's 27-
inch sewer interceptor. Immediate action is necessary to stabilize this bank and prevent failure of the line.
The stream bank stabilization will commence April 22, 2024.
Per previous submittals, I will address the fee payment upon notification of the appropriate fee by NCDEQ.
