I am in receipt of the Notice of Violation for Baton Elementary School dated April 8, 2024. Tony Gragg with
Water Tech Labs reached out to me on February 27, 2024 to report that only one monitoring event took place in
the month of January. His operator, Josh Greene, simply missed the second monitoring report. I don't know if it
was due to the inspection that was taking place at the same time for Baton, but it was missed. Additional samples
were collected in February when they noticed the missing report from January.
I also realize now, that it is my responsibility as the Permittee to notify the regional office within 24 hours of
receiving knowledge of non-compliance. Thank you with your help in getting me registered as the new Permittee
representative for Caldwell County Schools.
I have discussed the recent violations with Water Tech Labs, and believe they have taken appropriate measures to
help prevent any future lapses.
