2. Project Description
2a. Explain the purpose of the proposed project (continue on back):
New construction of lodge and cabins at 604 Ranch Boundary Dr. In accordance with Haywood County Ordinances for
Subdivisions and Pre -Development, the roadway widths of existing roads on the mountain require widening to allow for
emergency vehicle access. Two stream crossings (at "pump house" and "historic cabin") are considered unnamed
tributaries to Cove Creek and require extending existing CMP culverts in orderto meet local ordinances. Extensions at
both locations require less than 20' of additional pipe.
2b. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used:
Proposed project is for the addition of a lodge space and remodeling I addition of on -site cabins. The extension of existing
culverts referenced above will be constructed utilizing small tracked equipment and temporary pump around methods.
Contractor will commence work by sandbagging inlet side of existing culvert and then attaching new joint of pipe to outlet
end of existing culvert. Outlet end of pipe will be buried in accordance with General Condition 4246 and roadway shall be
widened to accommodate emergency vehicles in accordance with Haywood County Ordinances.
