Hey Miguel,
As discussed, we recently conducted Stormwater Monitoring at Outfall #3 (along entrance road above
creek) during the storm event on 3.15.2023. I have attached a table of the monitoring results along with
an associated cover letter to this email.
The results indicate elevated levels of Fecal Coliform, Copper, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), COD,
and BOD in the facility’s stormwater runoff. With that, since a written response and action plan have
been previously provided to CMSWS as part of the recent spills/NOVs, we plan to conduct another
round of inspections and monitoring later this year to assess the facility's improvements. We also ask
you to continue to work with CMSWS and make adjustments to the action plan to address these
pollutant levels throughout the facility.
Could you please send me your recent sampling results as required by the NCG060000 permit (the
last year would be great) for all outfalls, in order to compare your sampling results with what we found
during this round of monitoring.
Please let me know if you have any questions as well.
Thank you,
1
