Ms. Graznak,
As requested in your letter dated March 20, 2024, and received by MHC TT LP on April 1,
2024, we are providing an updated schedule for the capacity expansion at this facility. As
previously discussed, the facility was unaware of the high flows until the meter change -out
last summer. A facility replacement was near design completion when it was discovered that
the previously recorded flows were significantly different than actual. In response the Owner
immediately worked to develop a plan for the expansion of the facility.
At this time a plan has been developed to add a second treatment train to the facility. The
existing treatment system has a rated capacity of 40,000 gpd. The facility is currently limited
to 24,400 gpd in capacity due to the limitations of the effluent sprayfield. The proposed
expansion will include a 60,000 gpd treatment train and will include the improvements
required to produce reclaimed water. This allows for a more effective expansion of the
sprayfield. The facility and sprayfield are still currently in design, and in the interest of
expediting this process as much as possible, the owner is early procuring the equipment to
expedite schedule as much as possible.
The design is in the final stages of coordination with the manufacturers and field
investigations for the sprayfields are underway. Based on our current design and planned
construction, we offer the following schedule to complete the facility:
• Design completion: June 30, 2024
• NCDEQ permitting: July — September 2024
• Construction commencement: October 2024
• Construction is anticipated to be completed within 9 months: June 2025

o However, if portions of the sprayfield can be commissioned early we could
get these completed to expand the facility disposal capacity to remain in
compliance up to the treatment capacity limit of 40,000 gpd until the
remainder of the facility is constructed.
