We are currently operating the W1M'P with only one brush rotor in the oxidation ditch. Because of the extreme heat during the month of August we had difficulty keeping the dissolved oxygen level above 2.0 ppm which is needed for the nitrification process to meet our limits. The Town has spent approximately $60,000.00 repairing and replacing equipment since taking over the operation of the plant on February 1, 2020. Because of the lost revenue the town has suffered due to Covid-19 the town has been somewhat hindered in repairing everything at the plant and we have been trying to target and prioritize our efforts over the last six months. Plans are currently in place and approved by the Town Board to pull the broken brush rotor and have it repaired and put back in operation within the next 60 days. The WWTP was in full compliance for the month of September and as of the date of this letter we have not exceeded any limits in October. Because of the extreme beat during the month of August we had dtfftculty keeping the dissolved oxygen level above 2.0 ppm which is needed for nitrification to meet our limits. The Town has spent approximately S60,000 repairing and replacing equipment since taking over the operation of the plant on February 1, 2020. Because of the lost revenue the tow n has suffered due to Covid-19 the town has been sonuw hat hindered to repair everything at [lie ►VWTP over the last 6 months and we have been trying to target and prioritize our efforts. Plans are in place and approved by the Board to pull the broken rotor and have it repaired and put back in operation within the next 60 days.
