AMENDMENT#1 TO CONTRACT NO, N042023
This Amendment is made and entered into by and between CES Group Engineers, LLP, 3525 Whitehall
Park,Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28273 hereinafter referred to as"CONTRACTOR",and the North Carolina
Department of Environmental Quality,hereinafter referred to as"DEPARTMENT";
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS the Owner and Contractor entered into an AGREEMENT(CONTRACT NUMBER:N042023)on
February 241h, 2023;and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the North Carolina General Contract Terms and Conditions (Contractual and
Consultant Services)clause, pertaining to Amendments,the North Carolina Department of
Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management- UST section and the CONTRACTOR mutually
agree to amend the contract to reflect the following changes:
1. Department and Contractor mutually agree to add additional funding in the amount of
$25C,000.00 to the existing contract, necessary to complete the existing tasks on hand.
2. DEPARTMENT and CONTRACTOR mutually agree to mend/change the ending date of the
contract from February 23rd, 2024 to February 24111,2025,
3. Nothing herein shall alter any other terms of the AGREEMENT unless expressly superseded
within this AMENDMENT.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the CONTRACTOR and the DEPARTMENT have executed this AMENDMENT#1 to
Contract No. N042023 in duplicate originals, one of which is retained by each party.
