In accordance with Duke Energy's October 9, 2015 letter (Sideris to Reeder) and NCDEQ's
October 13, 2015 electronic mail response (Reeder to Sideris, et al.), Duke Energy hereby
submits the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Part 1 for the Dan River Steam Station Ash Basin. As
indicated below, Duke Energy is also providing the CAP Part 1 to additional NCDEQ Central
Office personnel, the NCDEQ Winston-Salem Regional Office, and the Coal Ash Management
Commission.
