Enclosed is a copy of the rain gauge record for the sampling period referenced above. As indicated by
the record there was only one period that qualified between April 9 (60 days after the previous sample)
and August 31 as a sampling event. As this was early in the sampling window a sample was not collected
and as a result a sample was not collected for Year 5 period 1. Our area experienced an unusual
frequency of rainfall during this sampling window and prevented the collection of a qualifying sample.
Every effort will be made to collect a sample during the next sampling window which will be sample #10
Year 5 Period 2 with the results submitted in a timely manner.
