I am in receipt of the Notice of Violation for Baton Elementary School dated February 29, 2024. After speaking
with Tony Gragg from Water Tech Labs, he informed me that the following corrections have been made.
Listed below is his response to the February 29, 2024 Notice of Violation letter for Baton Elementary School:
1. Flow Measurement — Effluent
Beginning in March, 2024, the effluent flow will be calculated from the potable water usage meter at
the facility.
2. Disinfection — UV
The extra UV bulbs are stored at the ORC's lab. The ORC will make sure that the UV bulbs are
cleaned at least annually, and he will keep a record of this maintenance in his operational log book.
Should any additional remediation actions be necessary or if the above corrective actions are insufficient, please
let me know.
