This letter is in response the Compliance Evaluation Inspection conducted on
January 19, 2022 by Maria Schutte
I just wanted to acknowledge your inspection report that I received by email.
It was stated that Based on your discussion during this site inspection, MRO staff was of the
impression you informed your Synagro contact you were not interested in sharing land and
wanted to continue your normal land application activity under your current program (permit
#WQ0000430).
It appears there is miscommunication between you, your contractor, and your local landowners,
who signed waiver agreements with Synagro staff for the land transfer between permits.
Thank you Maria for your concerns over the miscommunication with Synagro, but we are all on
the same page now regarding our land app permit recession and now being on Syangro's permit.
At the time of your inspection it had been over a year since we started that process of moving to
their permit so it didn't cross my mind. Also at that time the official permit modification had not
been sent out yet so Synagro had not contacted me to tell me we were now on their permit.
Thank you again for your concern but we are now totally on the same page with Synagro and are
ready to help our local farmers even more, with this new modification allowing other materials to
supplement ours when applying our local fields.

As to the recently installed staff gauge that was mentioned, we had it marked every foot. Maria
mentioned that per our conversation additional markings should be added to meet the required
tenths of a foot or one -inch increments as the current markings are in one -foot increments. I
reviewed our current Land App permit and did not find any requirements on this in our current
permit, however we are getting a local graphics company to make the changes to the staff gauge.
This was the only thing noted for correction in the inspection report.
