The Town of Cramerton has successfully completed the required activities established by the Division's Collections Systems and Pretreatment Unit for the development of a Division of Water Quality approved Pretreatment Program. With consideration of the successful completion of the required activities and the public comments received on the delegation request, the Pretreatment Program for the Town of Cramerton is approved as of August 18, 2004. The Town of Cramerton's NPDES permit will be the Division of Water Quality's primary instrument for Pretreatment Program enforcement. Please review Part III of the Town of Cramerton's Wastewater Treatment Plant NPDES permit NC0026816. The Division of Water Quality will retain the authority to require changes in your local pretreatment program, as appropriate. The Town of Cramerton's Pretreatment Program is considered to be a Full Pretreatment Program. Your next Pretreatment Annual Report will be due March 1, 2005, and shall cover calendar year 2004. Please note the due dates below for specific submittals to the Division's Pretreatment Unit regarding implementation of Part III, B., of your NPDES permit and your Pretreatment Program. Examples, descriptions, and acronyms of the following items are in the Comprehensive Guidance for North Carolina Pretreatment Programs (Comprehensive Guide) and at our website http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/Pretreat/index.html. Technical assistance is available from DWQ upon request. Submissions must be made in writing and received by DWQ by the listed date. Failure to meet any due date may result in an NPDES permit condition violation and possible subsequent enforcement action by the Division.
