The POTW did not modify any of the other Pretreatment Program Elements during the reporting period. A copy of the "Pretreatment Program Info Database"is attached with noted corrections. The POTW is operating under an NPDES Permit effective September 1, 2023 and expiring May 31, 2028. The POTW reviewed the NPDES Permit to determine if there were Permit conditions and requirements that affected any of the Pretreatment Program elements. The POTW determined that the Long Term Monitoring Plan required some updates. The POTW determined no revisions were required for the Headworks Analysis. Most recent date of the program elements, Headworks Analysis: July 2022 (next due date: October 1, 2025) Long Term Monitoring Plan: updated January 2024 Industrial Waste Survey: October 2023 GENERAL PERMIT INFORMATION: None to report. SIU INFORMATION: 1. Sans Technical Fibers (0108) SIGNIFICANT NONCOMPLIANCE (SNC) INFORMATION: No SNC Events OTHER INFORMATION: During this reporting period, Sans was compliant with all of the UP limitations and monitoring requirements. Sans was issued a Notice of Violation for a non-hazardous chemical spill that occurred in February 2023. The spill resulted from contractor work being completed on the inline piping of the spin finishing closed loop system. During the construction, the return lines was crossed and allowed the spin finish to return to the wrong tank and over filling one of the storage tanks. The spill was estimated to be approximately 500 — 600 gallons of the spin finishing chemical (Lurol NF- 10098 and Lurol TC-15690) was discharged into the sewer through a drain located in the spill containment dike. The plug located in the drain had degraded and was allowing the spilled chemical to seep around the plug and down into the drain connected to the sewer. Sans Fibers did follow the notification and reporting requirements of the Spill Control Plan and Industrial User Permit. New plugs were installed in the spill containment area with routine inspections. In addition, the plugs will be replaced on a routine basis to ensure the integrity of the plug and prevention of future spills. The POTW did not experience any adverse effects from the spill. The POTW completed the required sampling and monitoring and annual inspection. 2. Strum, Ruger & Company (0109) SIGNIFICANT NONCOMPLIANCE (SNC) INFORMATION: No SNC Events OTHER INFORMATION: During this reporting period, Strum, Ruger & Company exceeded the daily maximum lead limit for Pipe 001. Ruger determined that the violation occurred when a waste barrel contain lead water leaked onto the floor and the janitorial crew cleaned the area with floor scrubbers. The cleaning water from the floor scrubber was disposed of in the wastewater pretreatment area. To prevent future occurrences, the lead waste barrels have been placed onto secondary containment plat forms. Ruger also failed to monitor for Mercury during the first compliance permit. The POTW required Ruger to "makeup" the missed sampling during the second compliance period. A Notice of violation was sent to Ruger for each violation in accordance with the Enforcement Response Plan. The POTW completed its required monitoring and annual inspection. 3. Unifi Corporation (0105) SIGNIFICANT NONCOMPLIANCE (SNC) INFORMATION: No SNC Events OTHER INFORMATION: During this report period, Unifi met all of the permit conditions, monitoring requirements, and limitations. The POTW completed the required sampling and monitoring and annual inspection.
