Contractor shall begin construction only after the pre - construction conference has been held and the notice to proceed has been issued. 2. Utility locations shown on these plans are approximate. The contractor shall have all utilities within the project limits located and marked prior to beginning construction. The contractor will be responsible for the repair of any utilities damaged during construction. 4. All erosion control measures shall then be installed in accordance with the erosion control plan prior to any earth moving activities. 5. Contractor shall begin by accessing the stream excavate and center the thalweg as directed by the engineer and as shown on the plans. 6. Contractor shall then begin excavation to build the stone toe base for the geolift structure followed by building the stone toe base as shown on the plans and details. Any existing channel material excavated can be incorporated as fill behind the geolift as long as it is used for sub soil fill and amended soil makes up the geolift structure and any fill surface areas to support vegetation growth. 7. Contractor shall then install rock vanes as shown on the plans. 8. Contractor shall then install the impervious swales as shown on the plans and details and as directed by the engineer. 9. Contractor shall then install the geolift structure as shown on the plans and details and as directed by the engineer. Care should be taken to tie the geolift structure to the impervious swale. 10. Earthwork shall be staged such that no more area will be disturbed than can be stabilized by the end of the work day 11. Contractor shall then complete the remaining work shown on the plans including applying topsoil, amending soil, and vegetation. 12. Excess soil materials shall be stockpiled in designated staging and stockpile areas, with silt fence installed on the stream side(s) of the base of the stockpiles and maintained when sediment has accumulated above one third of the height of the silt fence and /or the silt fence has failed. Any excess soil shall be hauled offsite at the contractor's expense before demobilization. 13. Staging and stockpile areas, and silt fences shall be removed and the ground shall be repaired to stable conditions once planting is complete or once they are no longer needed. The construction access road shall be repaired to a condition acceptable to the owner and to at least as good or better than the pre - construction condition. 14. The contractor shall request a pre -final walkthrough with the engineer and the owner where corrective punch list items will be compiled. 15. After the punch list items have been corrected, the contractor shall request a final walkthrough with the owner and the engineer. 16. The contractor shall only demobilize from the site with the permission of the owner after all contractual obligations have been met. 17.
