Implementation Status of the Stormwater Program*
Please describe summary of implementation and compliance status.
The City of High Point's NPDES Phase II program has been implemented for 19 years since July 1 st,2005 and continues to remain in compliance
with the program.We received a Notice of Deficiency on January 28th,2020,from our audit,which was held in August of 2019.The required
documents noted in the Notice of Deficiency were submitted to DEQ within the specified timeframe and a new permit was issued on January 1 st,
2022.The Minium Control Measures continue to be implemented and reviewed annually during the self-assessment detailed as part of the
Stormwater Management Plan.
Are there any proposed changes/revisions to the Stormwater Program?*
Include revisions to assessment of controls and any fiscal analysis revisions.Note:Proposed changes shall be submitted as part of a revised
Stormwater Management Plan(SWMP).
The Stormwater Management Plan was submitted on November 15th,2021,and approved December 20th,2021,by DEQ.The Annual
Assessments as part of the Stormwater Management Plan are being completed and submitted as directed by DEQ.A revised SWMP has not been
submitted since the original was approved.The Stormwater Management Program Administration(Part 4)portion of the SWMP will need to be
updated to include a new Stormwater Superintendent position being added and other changes in staff.
