Following the heavy rain, we had a head cut develop where we had installed the new pipe under Pine Hall Road. We
plan to install a vein to stabilize the channel. The slopes are VERY soupy, so we’re going to let things dry out a bit before
we do the repair. If we get in there now, we’ll make a much bigger mess than if we wait. I’ve attached a picture of the
channel, and a detail of the proposed repair. It’s the one labelled ‘step-pool’ in the vein.pdf. Let me know if you need
anything further from me.

We’ve completed the replacement of BR 115 on Pine Hall Road in Stokes County. A copy of the DWR completion form is
attached.

This low impact bridge replacement project was approved by the USACE via email on 6.28.13. We don’t have an Action
Id. in our files for the USACE.
