Hi Kevin,
Thanks very much for your responses tomyquestions. Yes it's probably better to not include bridges in the impact
table in the future.
Sorry for the inconsistencies between the Corps and DWR, but I'll be permitting the wetland impact associated with th6
sewer line in Inset 4 as a temporary impact. Also, as far as the mitigation for stream impacts goes, DWR requires 1:1
mitigation for permanent stream impacts that exceed 150 linear feet (including dissipater pads). So if you could get a
reservation letter for 88 additional feet for a total of 288 feet, that's all I need to move this project along. Thanks.

Cherri, see my responses below. Call me when you get a chance regarding the mitigation requirement.
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
I've had a chance to look at the application you've submitted for Middleton Subdivision and just had a couple of things
to let you know:
• I'll be permitting the wetland impact associated with the sewer line in Inset 4 as a temporary impact since DWR
doesn't consider the conversion of vegetation tobealoss.
Re: Okay, as you probably know the Corps deems forested wetland conversion to herbaceous as permanent.
• What exactly are the greenvxay span impacts? |sitan arch span crossing?
Re: They are not actual direct stream impacts, I have just called them out so that you can see that we are
spanning the streams with bridges for the greenvvaycrossings. | will just make note of them in the future, and
keep them out of impact table.
The DWR will require at least 288 linear feet of stream mitigation since we require 1:1 mitigation for all
permanent stream impacts. I'm not sure if the span impacts will be added to the 288 linear feet because I don't
fully understand those impacts.
Re: The total permanent impacts are 2QQ linear feet, however, this includes and 63 linear feet of dissipater pad
which will be buried at the stream bed elevation (Insets 76>Q), and from what | understood does not require
mitigation.
Also included in the 288 If of impact is 125 linear feet of unimportant intermittent stream impact as
deemed by Corps (Inset 6\.
Should | get reservation letter for an additional 125 SIVIUs?
Call me when you get achance.
