Please reference the "Request for More Information" dated October 24, 2007 sent by the
North Carolina Division of Water Quality (DWQ) in response to the permit application
submitted by C1earWater Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), on behalf of Mr.
Charlie Stambaugh. The DWQ determined that the application was incomplete and has
requested the submittal of additional information. Each item requested in the letter is
addressed below.
1. Please indicate all stream impacts including all fill slopes, dissipaters, and bank
stabilization on the site plan.
A clarified site plan and impact map has been attached as "Sheet No. 2". This
map includes the proposed road; and all fill slopes and impacts associated with road
construction. There are no dissipaters or bank stabilization associated with the crossings
or road construction.
2. Please indicate all wetland impacts including fill slopes on the site plan.
A clarified site plan and impact map has been attached as "Sheet No. 2". All wetland
impacts and fill slopes are indicated on this map.
3. Please locate all isolated or non-isolated wetlands, streams, and other waters of the
State, along with topographic contours, as overlays on the site plan.
A clarified stream and wetland map has been attached as "Sheet No. 1 ". This map
includes all jurisdictional stream and wetland features on the site. "Sheet No. 2" also
includes this information as an overlay on the site plan.
