Everything looks good, and DWR officially approves the MY1 monitoring report for Cox Pond. Please provide confirmation of bond renewal through next year's monitoring period. DWR approves a 20% reduction in bond amount. Once DWR receives your bond renewal, we can proceed issuing the credit release for this task. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hi Andrew, Thank you for your feedback. Your comments are below in bold while Wildlands' responses are in italics. 1. A requirement for an easement boundary check to be performed every year was included in the BPDP and As -Built Report, but does not seem to be included in this monitoring report. Respond to this comment with the Year 1 easement boundary check or a summary of the visual inspection results. Include this information in all future monitoring reports — it is recommended that this information be included as a stand alone section either within, before or after "Parcel Adaptive Management". The easement boundary was walked throughout MY1, and no easement encroachments were identified. Annual report formatting will be adjusted next year to accommodate a separate section for easement boundary check results. 2. DWR appreciates the proactive soil testing of the bare patch near UT3. Please include the outcomes of the soil testing and any adaptive management actions in the year 2 monitoring report. Adaptive management actions and soil testing information will be included in the MY2 Report. 3. Include photos of all erosional features within every monitoring report 1-5, so that progress over time can be assessed visually in the reports. Make sure to mark the location of each erosional feature on the site map of each report as well. Please attach photos of the erosional features for MY1 in response to this email. Photographs of the MY1 condition of erosional features stabilized at as -built are attached. Within future monitoring reports, photographs of the erosion stabilization areas will be included as well as their locations on the Monitoring Components Map. Please note that due to herbaceous vegetation establishment, visual assessment of these areas through photographs may be difficult past the as -built stage on most projects. Thank you for your attention to these comments. Please provide an adequate response to all items above along with supporting documents if required. Once DWR receives a response to the comments above, issuance of monitoring report approval and credit release can be determined.
