Dear Mr. Godfrey:
On December 22, 2023, Dorothy M Robson of the Raleigh Regional Office reviewed the 2022 Land
Application Annual Report for permit WQ0018007. The report was received February 16, 2023. The report
was prepared by Branch Residuals & Soils, LLC.
According to the report, the Town of Broadway applied 5.36 dry tons on 4.20 acres in 2022.
The facility also analyzed the residuals for metals, nutrients, pathogen and vector attraction reductions as
stipulated in the March 7, 2019 permit. The non -hazardous constituents are required once per permit
cycle. The constituents were last reported in 2018, during the previous permit cycle. The current permit
cycle is from March 9, 2019 to December 31. 2024.
The residuals are class B residuals and transported from the Town of Broadway WWTP to the fields owned
and operated by William H Buchanan, as listed in the permit. There were no significant issues or findings
noted in the report review and therefore, a response to this review is not required.
