This product is generated from the USDA-NRCS certified data as
of the version date(s) listed below.
Soil Survey Area: Wake County, North Carolina
Survey Area Data: Version 25, Oct 2, 2023
Soil map units are labeled (as space allows) for map scales
1:50,000 or larger.
Date(s) aerial images were photographed: Apr 24, 2022—May
9, 2022
The orthophoto or other base map on which the soil lines were
compiled and digitized probably differs from the background
imagery displayed on these maps. As a result, some minor
shifting of map unit boundaries may be evident.

1. Avoidance and Minimization
la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project. *
Shed will be installed on a wood foundation on a concrete pier footing design, with minimal to no ground contact, to minimize
disruption to water runoff. No grading is needed and no vegetation removal is needed.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.*
See I regarding concrete pier footings and above -ground wood foundation.
E. Diffuse Flow Plan
E. Diffuse Flow Plan
All buffer impacts & high ground impacts require diffuse flow or other form of stormwater treatment. If the project is subject to a state implemented
riparian buffer program, upload a plan that fully documents how diffuse flow will be maintained. All stormwater control measures (SCMs) must be
designed in accordance with the NC Stormwater Design Manual. Associated supplement forms and other documentation must be provided.
For a list of options to meet the diffuse flow requirements, click here.
1a. What type of SCM are you providing?*
Level Spreader
Vegetated Conveyance (lower SHWT)
Wetland Swale (higher SHWT)
Proposed project will not create concentrated stormwater flow through the buffer
Other SCM that removed minimum of 30% nitrogen
