Drainage coefficient is 54%please state why you chose this percent. 2. Soils Map: It is very confusing. Please only include information for the subject property. 3. Ksat soil descriptions: The soil horizon C and Cr depths are reported, however,no other description is provided. Please provide descriptions for the C and CR soil profile. 4. The depth to perched water table is confusing. The soil borings do not indicate hydric soils, with exception to some mottling. You indicate the mottling starts at 5-9". Please explain why you indicate 14-15"for the perched water table. FORM: WQROSSR 04-14 Page 2 of 3 DocuSign Envelope ID:20379447-8D1E-49F0-8AF6-BFA68F4CA350 5. The 801h percentile precipitation data was obtained from the RDU International data for 58 years from 1948 to 2006. Although the data may be valid, The data on the website lists the data from 1946 to 2022. I am unable to validate the information. In addition, there is a 17-year gap from 2006 to now. Precipitation rates have changed from the past 17 years. We recommend a more up to date range for the precipitation data. 6. Ksats: The Ksat data provided does not provide consistent time intervals. The intervals range from 2 minutes to 86 minutes to determine steady state. Please provide an explanation or provide details to support your findings. 7. Ksats: The average measured consists of all the data collected(cm/hr). However, the average should only consist of the data in the steady state condition. 8. The Ksat data includes data for N57-1,N58-3, and N57-3.N58-3 does not correspond with any of the other documents in the report. Please submit the correct data for N57-2 or correct the other areas in the report to reflect N58-3. 9. The soils report does not state the type of vegetation that is currently there and if it will change? And if it does change, what is the temporary irrigation rate for bare soil. 10. The soil report has a section discussing the addition of fill materials. However, your reference to a"perched" water table is 14-15".No low spots or high-water table is indicated to warrant the addition of fill material. Please describe in more detail where and how much fill material is needed, and why it is needed. I t. The designed irrigation area is indicated as 0.191 acres. The irrigation area indicated on the SFR Irrigation Area Calculation Worksheet that 0.254 acres are necessary for the irrigation area. The designed irrigation area should be equal to or greater area than the recommended irrigation rate. However, this is based off the 360 gallons/day, and the engineering plans are recommending a reduced flow of 270 gallons/day. If the reduced low flow is approved, please rework the irrigation calculations at 270 gallons/day instead of 360 gallons/day to determine if the designed irrigation area of 0.191 acres is sufficient for the irrigation area. If the low flow is not approved, please provide calculations for both 270 gallons/day and 360 gallons/day and a designed irrigation area that would meet the calculated irrigation area for both 270 gallons/day and 360 gallons/day. 12.
