13339 Hagers Ferry Road, Bldg 7405 MG03A2 Work Order: 5020582
Huntersville, NC 28078 Reported: 03/25/15 12:53
Case Narrative
The well was purged for a minimum of 15 minutes. Samples were collected after well stabilization occurred. Well
stabilization was achieved when, for at least three consecutive measurements, the pH remained constant within 0.1 standard
units and specific conductance varied not more than approximately 10%.

Duke Energy - McGuire Project: Duke Coal Water Supply Well
13339 Hagers Ferry Road, Bldg 7405 MG03A2 Work Order: 5030259
Huntersville, NC 28078 Reported: 03/25/15 13:01
Case Narrative
The well was purged for a minimum of 15 minutes. Samples were collected after well stabilization occurred. Well
stabilization was achieved when, for at least three consecutive measurements, the pH remained constant within 0.1 standard
units and specific conductance varied not more than approximately 10%.
Unable to collect samples from the well head due to no sample port at well. Samples were collected from the spigot on
exterior of well house.

NR Not reported
RPD Relative Percent Difference
J The reported J value is between the laboratory's MRL and MDL. Constituents detected in this range, have a higher degree of
uncertainty and a lower level of precision. The J value was reported at the client's request or as a regulatory requirement.
S5 The raw sample concentration was greater than four times the spike concentration. The spike recovery was not evaluated against the
control limits.

Duke Energy - McGuire Project: Duke Coal Water Supply Well
13339 Hagers Ferry Road, Bldg 7405 MG03A2 Work Order: 5020584
Huntersville, NC 28078 Reported: 03/25/15 13:08
Case Narrative
The well was purged for a minimum of 15 minutes. Samples were collected after well stabilization occurred. Well
stabilization was achieved when, for at least three consecutive measurements, the pH remained constant within 0.1 standard
units and specific conductance varied not more than approximately 10%.

13339 Hagers Ferry Road, Bldg 7405 MG03A2 Work Order: 5020583
Huntersville, NC 28078 Reported: 03/25/15 13:06
Case Narrative
The well was purged for a minimum of 15 minutes. Samples were collected after well stabilization occurred. Well
stabilization was achieved when, for at least three consecutive measurements, the pH remained constant within 0.1 standard
units and specific conductance varied not more than approximately 10%.

Z Sample j-value is 0.003 mg/l. Duplicate j-value is 0.003 mg/l
