The Division received your request to rescind the subject Certificate of Coverage (CoC) under General Permit
NCG510000. We do not object to this request.
Pursuant to the approval of this action by the DEQ Winston-Salem Regional Office, NPDES CoC NCG510450 is hereby
rescinded, effective immediately. This message is to close the permit file for the Division, and for your records.
If in the future you wish to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a
new NPDES permit.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, simply reply to this message.
PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will
be sent regarding the CoC rescission. No hard copy will be mailed.

I am not sure about the note and the returned permit fee but based on the latest sampling data and the age of the old
remedial system, it will not be used again and the permit can be closed/cancelled.

Hi Carin,
I haven't talk to you in ages. Hope you are well!
The Central Office sent us an email concerning the Woolen Store located at 2895 Iron Works Rd in Reidsville. This facility
has a discharge permit from us for it's groundwater remediation system. They returned their annual fee invoice to the
Central Office with a note written on it that they're having a hard time reading, but they're guessing it says that the site
was approved for "natural attenuation". Are you familiar with the site and its current status?

We received the attached annual fee invoice, returned by the permittee.
It looks like the site has been approved for natural attenuation (maybe), but I can't make out the rest of the writing on
the form.
Does the WSRO have an opinion on the site, or does someone in the WSRO (in Groundwater, for example) know about
this?
