NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM
In compliance with the provision of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1, other lawful standards and
regulations promulgated and adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, and
the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended,
Metropolitan Sewerage District of Buncombe County North Carolina
is hereby authorized to discharge stormwater from a site located at:
French Broad River Water Reclamation Facility
2028 Riverside Dr
Asheville
Buncombe County
to receiving waters designated as French Broad River, class B waters in the French Broad River Basin(s),
in accordance with the effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions set forth in N.C.
General Permit No. NCG110000, issued on 5/30/2023 and effective on 6/1/2023.
This Certificate of Coverage shall become effective on 11/28/2023.
This Certificate of Coverage shall remain in effect for the duration of the General Permit.
