The facility is currently working on building a new micro rebar mill in Lexington. This pump and haul request is being submitted due to the facility working on connecting to the city sewer and receiving the necessary permits for this connection. The city of Thomasville WWTP also has some updates to make to their system before they are able to receive wastewater from the facility. Until the site is tied into the city sewer and the WWTP is able to receive the wastewater, the facility will need pump and haul the domestic wastewater from the Administration Building. The City of Thomasville is estimating the facility will be able to discharge to the city sewer by July of 2024. The facility is hoping to begin use of the Administration Building by the end of this year.
