Landon,

This letter is written on behalf of the Buncombe County Schools to provide information
as to remedial action taken to the above referenced facility in reference to NOV-2023-
LV-0367 attached.

We had a spike in BOD 43.6 mg/L and TSS 50.7 mg/L after the spring break no flow
week on the 2nd week of April 2023. We were able to average the BOD and TSS to less
than permit limits but the daily maximum was violated with the initial 50.7 mg/L over the
45 mg/L daily limit.

We will continue to make any adjustments needed to be compliant in the future.
