Saluda WWTP

To whom it may concern:

I am responding to the enclosed NOV on behalf of the City of Saluda WWTP.

The high Ammonia sample on June 27, 2023 was due to heavy rains that lead to a solids washout
on June 20, 2023. This event caused maintenance staff to turn off the blower on 6/20/2023. It
remained off until the flow returned to under 100,000 GPD on Saturday, 6/24/2023. The
Ammonia increased due to no aeration and no way to mix the chemicals without further solids
loss. Maintenance turned the blower back on 6/24/2023.

Please advise should further information be required.
