The Town of Ramseur has received two NOV's in reference to permit number NCG590019, both
NOV's was for late submittal of monthly reports. One was for the month of April 2023, and one for the
month of May 2023. Once receiving the NOV's, I spoke with Mr. Terry Lewallen who is the ORC, he
was behind on receiving information for the reports which caused him to be late on submitting. He is
now fully caught up on all reports with reference to Ramseur WTP, and back on track with submitting
the reports. I spoke to Mr. Jesse Barnes with NCDEQ who confirmed that all reports were submitted and
current.
Going forward to make sure it does not fall behind again, I plan to take over as ORC for the
WTP Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs). It will take some responsibilities off ORC Lewallen and I
can make sure personally that they get submitted. For any late submission going forward from the date
of this letter, I will be the ORC for Ramseur WTP.
The Town of Ramseur and myself are committed to keeping this from occurring in the future as
we see the importance of these reports being submitted in a timely manner.
