Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): Ongoing rise and fall of the lake for utility production, combined with high-energy boat wakes, has resulted in significant shoreward land loss and sediment deposition into the water. As with most of Lake Adger's shores, undermined shelves of shoreline have continuously collapsed into the lakebed, taking the natural vegetation with it. The goals for this project are to protect against continued loss of land and natural vegetation at the shoreline and reduce sediment deposition into the waters of Lake Adger. 8. How will the work be done?* From Land From Water 9. Total amount of disturbance below the normal pool lake level/ normal water level: (including all clearing, back fill, excavation, rip rap, retaining walls, etc.) 1854 square feet 10. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet landward to be impacted: * (number of trees, for instance) No trees will be removed and existing and the existing vegetation will be preserved as possible. Debris removal will be done as needed for placement of fabric and stone. Approach will be from the water, by barge.
