Dear Mr. Johnson:
The Town of Roseboro received the notice of violation letter dated August 24, 2023 where you are
informing that our toxicity self-monitoring report for May 2023 indicated a violation of the toxicity limitation
specified in our NPDES Permit.
Following this test result, the Town of Roseboro completed two (2) multiple concentration toxicity tests in
the following two months, with results for both being >100%. We also passed the Tox test for the month of
August.
In trying to determine the cause of the possible failure, we contacted the lab. However, they were unable
to tell from the WPCF results. All other test results were within the parameters of our permit limits.
