6/27 - 6/30 ammonia out of range due to bad sampling and air tanks/trains were offline on SCADA, unknown how or why but
looking into it."
JSB Remarks: Fourth consecutive month with ammonia and BOD exceedances, previously issued NOI. New ORC as of 5/2023
and he has been in communication about the plant upsets and anticipated exceedances. Technical assistance visit on 8/4/23 with
G. Hudson revealed that the facility has been unable to achieve proper DO levels in one of the two aeration basins, due to the
failure of many diffusers. The entire basin must be drained and cleaned for the diffusers to be replaced, and the new diffusers are
scheduled to arrive in November 2023. Facility is exploring potential solutions to achieve compliance until the aeration basin
rehabilitation can be completed.
