Subject: extraction of existing bridge piles on Bridge # 10, Dare County
Agencies,
Corman construction has asked for permission to extract 12 timber piles and 2 steel H-piles associated with the south
bound lane. This will be done utilizing a vibratory hammer and each pile will take about 10 minutes. Do you all have any
objection to his proposal? They would like to conduct this work on Thursday or Friday of this week. I have attached a
map for a reminder of bridge location # 10, Pain Creek Canal, in Dare County.
Thanks,
Clay Willis
