I’ve reviewed your request for the replacement of the fender systems on Bridge 14 over the Perquimans River in
Perquimans County (DWR project # 15-0768) and Bridge 9 over Croatan Sound in Dare County (DWR project # 15-
0767). Water Quality Certification No. 3883 which corresponds to the Corps NW 3 permit is issued for these
activities. Written approval is not required for use of this certification provided all the conditions can be met. If any of
the conditions cannot be met, written approval will be required. Please adhere to any in-water work moratoriums that
may be requested by the resource agencies as required in Condition 6. Thanks.
