In September 2014 we achieved concurrence on CP1 and CP2. At that time is was not clear if the I-3306A project would be funded, since all projects were still being prioritized and the draft STIP was under development. Once the draft STIP was released in December 2014, it showed the I-3306A project was funded but had been delayed by about 7 years. As a result of this delay, all work was suspended on the project. The draft STIP was approved in the beginning of June this year and the original delay of 7 years has not changed. For this reason, all work on the I-3306A project will continue to be suspended. At this point, we anticipate resuming work on the project in about another 2 to 3 years (assuming there are no other major funding or schedule changes that in that time). Also since we had already held a Public Meeting for the project, a newsletter was sent out at the end of July to update citizens on the status of the project. Once we do resume work on the project, I will notify merger team members.
