Mr. Myers, Please confirm that all photos and videotapes taken of ine by any NCDOT or contracted
employees, including yourself, have been deleted. If my image should surface on any form of inedia
without my consent, steps will be taken to hold the NCDOT accountable for invasion of privacy. I look
forward to receiving your confirmation of inedia deletions by tomorrow.

Mr. Hamby,
I appreciate that you've done your due diligence in requesting that Mr. Aaron Myers address all
employees on the Hackett Town Road project about maintaining professionalism on the job. Thank
you for taking this one action. I can only hope that your directive has been fulfilled since the behavior
of the worksite employees is usually directly related to the management style of the site supervisor.
Unfortunately, your e-mail does not indicate that ALL employees be advised to "delete and discard
ANY and ALL photos and videotapes that have been taken of ine without my express permission.
This is a direct invasion of my privacy." This action is expected not only of the hourly and contracted
employees, but of the site supervisors and any other DOT employees, as well.
As stated in my prior e-mail, we feel that the intimidation and implied threats are very real, and remind
you that if our home, property, pets or persons are injured or damaged in any way, we will hold the
NCDOT accountable for not taking the necessary steps to manage known risks and take appropriate
corrective actions.
I will, as you've asked, direct any questions about the Hackett Town Road Project to Mr. Aaron Myers
or Mr. Marvin Felts if they are in a position to effectively and reasonably respond to my inquiry.
However, I will continue to reach out to you and any other individuals deemed necessary to advise of
issues that I feel may need other, higher authority awareness and response.
I look forward to your confirmation that the request of inedia deletion noted in the second paragraph
above has been communicated and that all parties have been compliant in fulfilling this obligation.
Thank you.
Have a good day.
Stacey Triplett.

Subject: Hackett Town Rd
Please be advised that an employee with Hudspeth, which is contracted by the NCDOT Division 11,
has made threatening, intimidating and harassing comments to others about me... as well as directly
to me.
He goes by the nickname "Bulldog" and has been operating a backhoe on the SR1305 Hackett Town
Road project.
On July 9th, "Bulldog" disclosed that he (and other contracted and/or direct NCDOT Division 11
employees) have surreptitously taken photos and videotape segments of ine. He approached my
renter to ask if I was on disability. He stated the "game plan" was to use their photos and videos as
proof that I am not disabled. He plans on reporting me in order to have me investigated with the
hopes of stopping my disability payments. It is extremely alarming how far the contracted employees
and the NCDOT Division 11employees are willing to go to in order to have me step down from voicing
concerns about our road's progression. He stated I need to get a job and back off my involvement
with the road project and stay out of their business.
Although he is a contracted backhoe operator from Hudspeth, he has somehow become privy to the
e-mail correspondence between myself and employees at the NCDOT Division 11. "Bulldog" further
stated to my renter that my emails were "eloquent, well written and well researched" and complained
about how difficult I was making Aaron Myers' job. My concerns and correspondence concerning this
road project has nothing to do with him or Hudspeth.
"Bulldog's" bullying, stalking, and intimidating manner have caused me and my family great concern.
His probing questions and intimated threats have implied that he may take retaliatory actions against
me, our pets or our personal property in any way he feels necessary in order to have me step down
from being conscientious about our road's progression. He has implied that either we shut up or pay
the consequences, which we perceive as a threat.
We ask that you not single him out, but talk with ALL of the employees at the site to remind them that
they are to focus on the JOB, not on the people who live on the road. They should delete and discard
ANY and ALL photos and videotapes that have been taken without my consent or permission. This is
a direct invasion of my privacy. The Supervisors on the job site are responsible for making sure that
all workers stay on task and that personal frustrations do not interfere with performing theirjobs. .
They need to treat this project as though they were doing the construction in their own front yard, and
be mindful of how they would feel if THEIR home and family were being subjected to such a drastic
change as we are having to endure.
Not that it is any of your business but I am not on disability. I strongly advise that you tell your Division
11 employees and your contracted employees to Stop invading my privacy and trying to damage my
character. Stop making threats and trying to intimidate me. Stop taking Photos and Recordings of ine
without my consent.
I am hopeful that you will handle this request promptly and tactfully. If our home, property, pets or
persons are injured or damaged in any way, we will hold the NCDOT accountable for not taking the
necessary steps outlined in the paragraph above.
Please respond to inform me with the actions you have taken.
Have a good day.
