Your assistance, as well as that of Mr. Jay Guff, (of the facility maintenance staff), was helpful and appreciated. This inspection was conducted to determine your compliance with the NPDES wastewater general permit referenced above. The following observations were noted during the Division of Water Quality inspection: SITE DESCRIPTION This facility is a textile production facility primarily involved in the manufacture of cloth liners for jackets and coats. The facility has reduced production in recent years and much of the site is not in use. The boiler blowdown water continues to be recycled and is not discharged to the environment. Two of the three cooling towers are in operation. The cooling water and condensate discharge is regulated by the NCG500000 permit. INSPECTION SUMMARY The NPDES Wastewater Permit was available during the inspection and was issued August 1, 2007.
