STEP 2: LAY OUT THE IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER WITH THE CENTER OF THE LINER LOCATED UNDER THE CENTER OF THE SAND BAG DIKE.
STEP 3: PLACE THE SANDBAGS TO THE DESIRED HEIGHT. THE DIKES SHALL HAVE A WIDTH SUITABLE TO SUPPORT THE HEIGHT. EACH ROW SHALL BE
OFFSET SO THE JOINTS ARE STAGGERED. PACK SANDBAGS TIGHTLY TOGETHER.
STEP 4: WRAP IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER AROUND SANDBAG DIKE AND SECURE WITH FINAL LAYER OF SANDBAGS.
STEP 5: PUMP OUT ANY WATER TRAPPED BETWEEN THE TWO SAND BAG DIKES.

PLANTING NOTES
1. Tree plantings and bed lines shall be staked by Landscape Contractor
for Landscape Architect's approval prior to installation. The Landscape
Architect reserves the right to make adjustments to planting locations
as necessary.
2. Add shredded hardwood mulch to all planting beds at a depth of 3 inches.
J. Landscape Contractor is responsible for maintaining all installed plants
and lawn areas until issuance of Written Certificate of Final Completion

STEP 1: REMOVE BRANCHES AND LARGE ROCKS FROM AREA WHERE THE SAND BAGS WILL BE PLACED. INSTALL SANDBAGS UPSTREAM AND
DOWNSTREAM OF CULVERTS TO BE REPLACED, IF THERE IS STANDING WATER IN THE EXISTING CHANNEL.
STEP 2: LAY OUT THE IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER WITH THE CENTER OF THE LINER LOCATED UNDER THE CENTER OF THE SAND BAG DIKE.
STEP 3: PLACE THE SANDBAGS TO THE DESIRED HEIGHT. THE DIKES SHALL HAVE A WIDTH SUITABLE TO SUPPORT THE HEIGHT. EACH ROW SHALL BE
OFFSET SO THE JOINTS ARE STAGGERED. PACK SANDBAGS TIGHTLY TOGETHER.
STEP 4: WRAP IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER AROUND SANDBAG DIKE AND SECURE WITH FINAL LAYER OF SANDBAGS.
STEP 5: PUMP OUT ANY WATER TRAPPED BETWEEN THE TWO SAND BAG DIKES.

STEP 2: LAY OUT THE IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER WITH THE CENTER OF THE LINER LOCATED UNDER THE CENTER OF THE SAND BAG DIKE.

2. SCHEDULE AND HOLD A PRE— CONSTRUCTION MEETING PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY LAND— DISTURBING ACTIVITIES. THIS MEETING SHOULD

5. WHEN THE WORK AREA IS DRY, REMOVE EXISTING CULVERTS.
6. INSTALL NEW CMP PIPE ARCH CULVERT. EMBED PIPE AS SHOWN ON PLANS. PLACE MATERIAL IN PIPE TO MATCH EXISTING STREAM
CHANNEL.
7. INSTALL CONCRETE HEADWALLS. FILL MATERIAL OVER CULVERT AND COMPACT IN 6" LIFT TO MEET PIPE COVER REQUIREMENTS.
S. EXCAVATE MATERIAL FROM EXISTING STREAM BED TO MATCH PROPOSED PROFILE.
9. REMOVE SAND BAG DAMS AND DIVERSION PIPE TO RESTORE STREAM FLOW THROUGH THE CULVERT.

STEP 1: REMOVE BRANCHES AND LARGE ROCKS FROM AREA WHERE THE SAND BAGS WILL BE PLACED. INSTALL SANDBAGS UPSTREAM AND
DOWNSTREAM OF CULVERTS TO BE REPLACED, IF THERE IS STANDING WATER IN THE EXISTING CHANNEL.
STEP 2: LAY OUT THE IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER WITH THE CENTER OF THE LINER LOCATED UNDER THE CENTER OF THE SAND BAG DIKE.
STEP 3: PLACE THE SANDBAGS TO THE DESIRED HEIGHT. THE DIKES SHALL HAVE A WIDTH SUITABLE TO SUPPORT THE HEIGHT. EACH ROW SHALL BE
OFFSET SO THE JOINTS ARE STAGGERED. PACK SANDBAGS TIGHTLY TOGETHER.
STEP 4: WRAP IMPERVIOUS POLY - FABRIC LINER AROUND SANDBAG DIKE AND SECURE WITH FINAL LAYER OF SANDBAGS.
STEP 5: PUMP OUT ANY WATER TRAPPED BETWEEN THE TWO SAND BAG DIKES.
