Subject: U2800 sediment loss Macy Grove Road
We had a minor sediment loss at U2800 with last night's thunderstorm. The project received over 1" of rain in 40
minutes. The only area where there was a problem was in the median of I-40 Business. They're in the process of
bringing up the fill in the median to relocate west bound Business 40. I visited the site with Phil today. I'll pass his
report along when I receive it. The erosion control was installed per plan. They had just finished installing the measures
yesterday, and they held up pretty good considering the high volume of rain. A few buckets of sediment were removed
at the pipe outlet. It happened at permit site 3.
