Good afternoon Mr. Pitner,
The USACE and the City of Concord believe the Concord Streams Restoration project is now completed and is fully
functioning. The final repair is now complete to the one crossing area which was of concern on our last call back in late
May 2023 (Pictures provided in attachments). The photos attached show the rock crossing repair when it was first
completed and now with successful vegetation. The NCDEQ Land Quality Rep. has made a site visit and provided a final
site visit report (attached) stating no further issues for sediment or erosion control. Additionally, a Notice of
Termination Request has been submitted for the final stormwater permit on the project (copy also attached).
Please let me know if there is any additional information or documentation the NCDWR would like provided in order to
officially close out the Sec 401 WQC DWR#17-0750. Additionally, I left a voice message for you explaining the close out
materials I am sending in this email, feel free to give me a call back if you would like to schedule a site visit or have any
specific questions we can address.
Thank you for your time to review these close out materials.
Best Regards,
Teresa R Young
